House full of surprises
In this house there is nothing conventional ,it has writing desk on the entry and couch in the dining room. Also it is full of antiques and recovered pieces that make it very special place.
The white brick facade and dining porch are the best presentation of this house full of secrets. A house”with soul”,confirms Natalie Haegeman ,its owner and interior designer. Expert in finding unique pieces and decorate ”carried away by feelings”,has converted her house in big lab for her ideas. I bet on intense colors and combine them with antiques. In the dining room,where I still have dinner with my friends,seemed to me more practical to put a sofa,that is more comfortable than the chairs”, funny she says.
Warm and cozy red
In the kitchen the combination of old red is again actual. The low closets close by curtains that reminiscent kitchens village,while the blinds in fiery red give joy and vitality. Ï have to admit it :red passionate me and it seems essential in place I want to be warm and cozy”.Natalie confirm that the desk in the entry is one of her favorite corners.”From my table I see all in the garden that is one of my weaknesses “. Like the fabrics and, especially the lamps. In fact, the house is endless collection of lamps, all of them of personal touch of Natalie.
Sweet colors for the bedroom
In the superiors floor stand out the antiques from the bathroom ,as the Belgian comfortable, the French mirrors that has its original patina,or the appliques on the wall. Here the color palette is not that risky : “For my room I prefer sweeter colors ,like this pearl white matte. Repeated combination in the white bed sheets and the linen bedspread”.

Natalie makes patchwork of different fabrics to make cushions, curtains for kitchen cabinets and bathroom and even for personal lampshades. Her favorite? Cottons and linens, in plain, stripes and small tables.
